Mission Statement

It is our mission to develop the Church through the teaching of God’s Holy Word (The Holy Bible) in its entirety. Which prepares us to receive the embrace of Jesus Christ, who empowers us to fulfill the First commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) as wholehearted lovers of God, and thereby fulfill the second commandment by reaching out to our neighbors, in the community around us. To bring light into the dark areas of our community, through the “tearing down of enemy strongholds” by targeted prayer and intercessment. Through the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit we will worship our Lord, Jesus Christ.  We will present Christ as a passionate Bridegroom, and Glorious King by reaching out with a loving hand and touching the lives of those in our community through our various outreach ministries. In the spirit of (Matthew 28:19-20) “Go ye therefore, and teach All nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Church History

Our Church was founded in 1960. It was started in the Old Edison Post office, Which at the time was being used for the meeting place for “The Angel Wheel” car club. Their group donated the building to The Church. It started out with 7 original members. It grew and the folks needed more room to worship so in 1964 an addition was added and it continued growing, so in 1970 another addition was made. Then in 1982 the church was moved to its current site where it was built new. The Church has continued to grow. More property has been added since then. The Old Varners well service property was purchased and the House was turned into what is now Harvest House, Which contains the Pastors office, Our Food Pantry, and a Community room. The Large Garage is used for an Auto Repair Ministry.  In 2002 we began to employ a full time Pastor. The Lord has blessed us tremendously for doing so. We invite you to come and grow with us.
